건강한 노년기를 위한 정보 서비스
호주한인복지회의 HAP 프로그램은 한인 연로자가 보다 능동적으로 건강한 삶을 영위하도록 돕는 취지의 프로젝트입니다.
HAP 프로그램은 호주의 노인복지 서비스를 한인 사회에 알림으로써 한인 연로자와 그 간호인(간병인)이 적절한 서비스를 적극적으로 그리고 지속적으로 받을 수 있도록 장려하고 돕는 것을 목적으로 합니다.
HAP 프로그램의 공식 명칭은 Australian Korean Welfare Healthy Ageing Service Program (HAP) 이며, 호주정부 연방보건고령부의 ACSHAG 펀드(Aged Care Service Improvement Healthy Ageing Grant Fund)로 운영됩니다.
AKWA HAP 프로그램의 목표
- 다양한 노인복지 서비스에 대한 한인사회의 인식 및 이해를 증진합니다.
- 한인 연로자와 간호인(간병인)이 노인복지 서비스를 이용하는 데에 장애가 되는 요소를 파악하고 제거합니다.
- 서비스 제공 기관들과 원활한 협력 관계를 맺고 한국 문화를 알림으로써 한국인 정서에 맞는 對 한인고객 서비스를 제공하도록 돕습니다.

Australian Korean Welfare Healthy Ageing Service Program (HAP)
What is HAP?
The Australian Korean Welfare Healthy Ageing Service Program (HA) is ACSIHAG (aged Care Service Improvement Healthy Ageing Grant) funded project of Australian Korean Welfare Association (AKWA).
The purpose of the HAP project is to enhance the access of the Korean community to aged care services and to build capacity and help aged care service providers deliver culturally appropriate care services
The HAP project is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
HAP Project aims
- Promote awareness and access of the Korean community to a range of aged care services
- Identify and remove specific barriers to aged care services for frail older Koreans and their carers
- Develop sustainable partnership with aged care service providers and help them provide culturally appropriate care services

HAP Project targeting regions
- Sydney Inner West-Burwood, Canterbury and Strathfield LGAs
- Northern Sydney-Hornsby and Ryde LGAs
- South-western Sydney-Bankstown LGA
- Sydney Eastern Suburbs
HAP project target regions include the surrounding areas of the above.
*Community Partners Program (CPP) was ceased as at the 30th June 2012. HAP is the subsequent program.
